This pencil portrait of Cocker Spaniel called Layla was commissioned for a Christmas present.
I love drawing long haired dogs as their hair is so interesting. The owner asked me to “draw my dog” and sent me a photograph by this form which I then assessed and after a bit of toing and froing we got a pic that was good enough resolution to draw from.
