This is the third piece in my Big Cat Series, titled Majestic Lion. It was such a wonderful subject to work with! I am so pleased with how it turned out! I did my best to make the lion look powerful and regal, and I think this drawing is a great addition to the series.
This is my third big cat drawing, and every time I complete one, I feel more connected to these magnificent creatures. Trying to bring out the essence of the lion: strength, pride, and grace was quite a task, but it was also very fulfilling. The piece was carefully drawn in such a way that, from the detailed flow of its mane to the commanding expression in its eyes, no small element was left unattended to truly reflect the real majesty of the lion.
