Black labrador pencil portrait This black labrador pencil portrait, called Lucie is a tribute present for her owner. Unfortunately Lucie passed away last year after a long adventure with her owner and the present is to immortalise her and remember what a great friend she was. Here’s what the owner said about his black labrador pencil…
This drawing of a springer spaniel is of Alfie, who’s owner wanted to immortalise in a drawing. She was very patient with me as I had a brief interlude from drawing, due to moving house. She was over joyed with the end result, as am I. Alfie’s character really shines through in this dog drawing.
This drawing of a chocolate labrador, Chunk was a great subject to draw, just look at his expression. The drawing was greatly received as a gift and is an excellent example of a dog drawing I do as a commission.
This is a dog portrait of a West Highland Terrier. Lucy is a mischievous but very pretty dog, her owner was over joyed with this drawing of her. This is the second West Highland Terrier I’ve drawn, I love their personality and am glad I can bring this out in my drawings.
Smokey is a beautiful black labrador and still remains one of my favourite drawings.
Doddie is a cheeky lil dog who loves his cuddly toy. His owner wanted him immortalised with this, hence the drawing.
Shady is a beautiful doberman who the owner unfortunately had to have put to sleep, after illness.
Lyra and George couldn’t be two more different dogs to draw, one’s short haired and smooth, the other is long and hairy.
These two black labradors are full of character and were a joy to draw (twice, as my kitten knocked water over the first).
Pippa is a beautiful Springer Spaniel that sadly passed away, but has been immortalised in this drawing
