Boxer dog pencil drawing – Martha
This boxer dog pencil drawing was undertaken and although quite challenging I feel the result is very good. This comes from having a great photo to draw from. Martha’s character shines through and was a joy to draw.

Another Christmas present, this time a dog drawing of a long haired collie. Here’s the testimonial the pleased recipient sent me … Hello I just personally want to thank you for the wonderful portrait you did of our beautiful dog Toby. You are extremely talented and everyone I have shown it too have commented on…
This cat portrait drawing is of a cat called “Mum Cat”. She has a very interesting story, her owner was in the army, adopted her and brought her back from Nepal, so being immortalised in a drawing is quite fitting for this well travelled moggy. Here’s the kind words extended by the lady who commissioned…
This Tortoise Shell cat drawing is of Bronte, a beautifully affectionate cat who passed away recently and this cat drawing was commissioned as a Christmas present for the owner. This Springer Spaniel pencil drawing was a surprise 70th birthday present for a gentleman. The person that commissioned it had fun and games getting a decent photograph of Pip as she’s a tad boisterous and does not stay still for long.

This drawing of a springer spaniel is of Alfie, who’s owner wanted to immortalise in a drawing. She was very patient with me as I had a brief interlude from drawing, due to moving house. She was over joyed with the end result, as am I. Alfie’s character really shines through in this dog drawing.
This drawing of Jack the ginger tom cat sleeping encapsulates the majority of his day. The drawing was given as a birthday present for his owner, unfortunately Jack passed away not long after and so the drawing became a great tribute him.
This is the first drawing I’ve done of a horse. I have to say what a joy it was to complete. Horse drawings throw up different challenges to other animals though they’re no less enjoyable to draw.
